Villa Turquoise is located right on the beach on the North-East coast of Zanzibar with stunning views over the Indian ocean.

The Villa is rented on an exclusive basis and features a wide private beach and private pool, direct ocean access, a powerboat and sailing boat, a large tropical garden, games room, library and professional staff including a chef and housekeepers.
The ground floor features a lounge area and a large dining area with open bar where you can enjoy evening drinks with spectacular views on the lagoon and the Indian ocean. On the first floor is a panoramic lounge with views 270 degrees views. The house has 4 dining areas, is tastefully furnished and decorated and sleeps up to 14 persons.

The Rooms.
Villa Turquoise has 5 large bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and sleeps up to 14 persons. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and fully equipped en-suite bathrooms. All beds are king-size beds with deluxe matrasses and pillows for a perfect rest.
On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms, with garden views. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms with ocean view and a large suite with two king-size beds, en-suite bathroom and private terrace with views on the garden.
The rooms are cleaned daily by our housekeepers and in the evening they will also prepare the rooms including turning the beds for the night and lowering the mosquito nets. Even for smaller groups all rooms will be accessible so guests can enjoy a different sunrise every morning. Two extra single beds can be put in any of the rooms and we can also provide cots.
The Garden & Pool.
The house is situated in a large tropical garden (ca. 10,000m²) with palm trees, oriental fruits (mango, pine apple, passion fruit, …) and flowers (hibiscus, bougainvillea, frangipani, oleander, paradise…) and features a large swimming pool (5x10m) with shallow end and wide stairs ideal for children.
A large sundeck surrounds the pool and there are two more decks, one in the garden and one on the private beach.
The lush tropical garden is sensational and has plenty relaxing spots where you can unwind while enjoying the views or reading a book.
We also provide massages and as the Villa is exclusively yours during your stay, you can enjoy your favorite massage at your favorite spot in the house, garden or beach at anytime.
The Beach.
Villa Turquoise offers a wide (80 meters) private beach and direct ocean access. The ocean water temperature is around 28°, it can go up to 32° just before high tide as the sun has been warming up the sand and the lagoon.
On the private beach there is a deck with makuti roof where you can enjoy lunch or just relax with perfect views on the Indian Ocean and Mnemba atoll.
The most beautiful beaches of Zanzibar are found on the East coast of the Island at Matemwe, a charming and pitoresque fishermen village some 50 km from the capital and airport.
Every morning the fishermen bring the catch of the day to the vibrant local fish market. We can arrange for you to go fishing with the local fishermen on their traditional boats (dhows) as they have been doing for hundreds of years.

The house is fully serviced, our chef will prepare fantastic meals for you and our two housekeepers will make sure you can enjoy and relax at all times, they will be setting and cleaning the tables, serving food & drinks, cleaning the house, dishwashing, providing towels etc….
Our House and Guest Manager will welcome you and will be available throughout your stay to assist with catering, shopping, excursions, translation, local events etc…
The staff are there to make sure you can relax and enjoy your holidays, they are fluent in English and are well trained to give you maximum comfort and absolute privacy.
Our skipper will take you out for trips with the boat in and beyond the lagoon, the gardeners take care of the pool and garden and our watchmen will ensure you have a comfortable and safe night rest.
Plenty amenities are available for relaxation and sports. There is also a library, a games room, Satellite TV and DVD, Internet, …
